Hey everyone,

So, a few things to note. We have had our album done for a while, and we've played with a few different ideas of the cover, we've sold it at shows as CD-Rs, and we've talked about what else to do with it... We've decided that we're just going to leave it at that, we'll be selling it at shows and at LEO Handmade Gallery in Chattanooga, TN. We are in the process of getting it on bit torrent websites for all of you who use those. And we are in the process of contacting bloggers/online magazines around the world with our music (If you know of any that you really like, please share). So if you don't live in Chattanooga, then you can probably download it for free somewhere soon. The album art is an, 8 1/2 X 11 piece of paper that is folded just so. We are going to make a downloadable PDF of that as well. Hopefully www.weareforestmagic.com will soon be its own website and not just a link to our myspace page soon where that will be available. Our decision for that rests on many ideas. What it really boils down to is that we'd rather spend the money on something new. We've had those songs for a while and would rather print new material for releasing.

As some of you know, Allen, our bassist has released an EP under the moniker ELK It is called BACK IN THE TIME WHEN TREES AND PEOPLE USED TO BE FRIENDS. It has 4 songs on it adding up to 11:11. It is short and sweet and kind of sad. It is also available at LEO. We recorded it ourselves and designed the covers.

We are in the process of recording again! It's exciting. We've been so caught up in playing shows that we've not had time to. Now we are going to take a break from shows for a while, and focus on getting the material we have now polished and continue to write new stuff. We hope to record a couple of tracks with Charles Allison again. We also would like to record a song or two with Mike Pack, another Chattanooga producer. We've talked about recording with Kevin Ratterman, of Wax Fang, who mastered Is Energy. We want to do a lot of different settings. We hope to record outside some too. We are really excited and hope that we can get our music to those who would be excited too. We are lucky to be in a fantastic time where the music industry is changing and it's about community more than it is about Quincy Jones or whoever getting fat pockets... With that said, if you HAVE purchased our album, please burn it for a friend and tell them to do the same. We want people to hear it!

We love you,
<3,
Joshua on behalf of FM
